Scholarship Information

The Vermont/New Hampshire Cytotechnology Association will award a scholarship in the amount of $500.00 to a resident of either Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, New York or Massachusetts who is enrolled in an accredited school of Cytotechnology (or a school with pending accreditation status). "Resident" is defined as an individual who has lived in the state for more than one year.

The intent of this scholarship award is to encourage and support students in their pursuit of Cytotechnology as a career. If an award recipient terminates his/her education for any reason, the award must be refunded to the VT/NHCA.

The awarded scholarship is based on the following: Application, previous academic record, current Cytotechnology school work, personal achievements, letters of recommendation and financial need.

  • Official transcripts, and
    • Two letters of recommendation from non-relatives, preferably people who can comment on your academic ability, work accomplishments, interpersonal skills and potential for success.
Applications must be postmarked no later than March 1; award will be made in April.
